Chakra One:
Earth, Physical identity, oriented to self-preservation
Located at the base of the spine and coccyx , this chakra represents everything solid in our lives from our body to ground we walk on to the house we live in. It represents the beliefs you have about you body, family and community and what brings it safety and security. In the first chakra we manifest our visions, beliefs relationships, work, and life purpose. When the first chakra opens it becomes a magnet, drawing the mater of life to you in the form of good health and prosperity.

Red is the primary color used in body work. It energizes and grounds organs, muscles and emotions to facilitate change at the physical level once illness is has manifested in the body. Use blue to temper excessive red.
