Chakra Two:
Water, Emotional identity, oriented to self-gratification
The second chakra, located in the pelvis and lumbar region of the body. It represents everything that flows gracefully, moves, attracts us and gives us the desire to change. In the second chakra we sensually feel the world we come in contact with. Through the pleasure of this contact we stimulate our passion and sexuality as well as our power in one on one relationships. It is where we first encounter duality of self/other, good/bad, light/dark, male/female, power/weakness and make our life choices in such a way that we create not only what we think of as our “good self” but begin to hide our shadow traits as our “bad self.”

Orange is used to charge the immune system and is the basic health color, increasing enthusiasm and a vibrant life where passion for living has been forgotten. It supports the self image as a sensual being and the ability to bring Eros into all relationships. Used in healing all maladies from asthma, digestive disorders, head aches, depression, lower self and shadow release, auto immune diseases.
